Preparing for mastery

All three primary skills can be mastered. Choose your two major and one minor Master Skills carefully. The choice is permanent. Look through Specialisations before choosing a pair of weapon skills or magic schools.

Above 100, fight stronger enemies and use a range of attacks rather than rapidly repeating the same action. Expect advancement to slow substantially. See Master skills for the practice requirements.

Online, Renown continues to improve health, magicka and loot while providing Firmament stars. A high character level alone does not measure all of a character's progress.

If you join a party at least three levels below you, mentoring reduces your combat statistics and disables Firmament bonuses while it applies. This lets you help newer players without overwhelming their encounters.
