25	Silver; dungeon veins; striking a Motherlode
40	Gold, Moonstone Ore, Dwarven Scrap
50	First specialisation
55	Platinum, Mithril Ore
70	Adamantium, Ebony and Orichalcum Ore
100	Second specialisation; the glint stays put longer

Clean strikes require fewer swings and give 50% more XP. A Silver vein gives three times an Iron vein’s XP.

Mining rank	Training advice
Below 25	Work the best ore available; quarry boulders along the way
25 or higher	Use dungeon veins and suitable Court writs
40 or higher	Prefer Gold and dungeon ore; Iron and boulders give reduced XP

Rank 25–50 can take a few hundred clean Silver veins; switching to Gold when it unlocks reduces that estimate.

Each character can harvest a vein once per day. Other players have their own harvests of the same veins. Nodes refresh at 00:00 UTC; ordinary mining has no additional daily cap.
