Harvest numbers and XP
Each tree normally yields 2–4 logs; clean felling improves XP without adding logs. The table counts actual attack presses when every cut is clean. Ordinary cuts contribute one chop point and clean cuts two.
| Wood | Rank | Tier | Chop points | Clean cuts | With Lumberjack | Base XP | Clean XP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pine | 0 | 1 | 5 | 3 | 2 | 15 | 22 |
| Oak | 10 | 2 | 5 | 3 | 2 | 30 | 45 |
| Cherry | 25 | 3 | 6 | 3 | 2 | 45 | 67 |
| Teak | 40 | 4 | 6 | 3 | 2 | 60 | 90 |
| Mahogany | 55 | 5 | 8 | 4 | 3 | 75 | 112 |
| Ironwood | 70 | 6 | 8 | 4 | 3 | 90 | 135 |
| Ghostwood | 70 | 6 | 8 | 4 | 3 | 90 | 135 |
| Timing rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Ring cycle | 0.9 s |
| Minimum time between attacks | 0.45 s |
On witnessed ground, each Clean Cut rolls independently for Heartwood, with at most one Heartwood per tree:
| Perk | Chance per Clean Cut | Chance across 3 Clean Cuts |
|---|---|---|
| None | 2% | About 5.88% |
| Forester | 4% | About 11.53% |
Resin has a separate 25% chance per tree, including on unwitnessed ground.
| Wood | Quarter XP begins at rank |
|---|---|
| Pine | 40 |
| Oak | 55 |
| Cherry | 70 |
| Teak | 90 |
| Mahogany | Never through Master |
| Ironwood | Never through Master |
| Ghostwood | Never through Master |
Sawing and burning logs give no profession XP.
