Sea contracts and trade — Ranks
Daggerfall, Wayrest Map and Sentinel Map track naval reputation separately. Notoriety of 25 or more suspends rank benefits.
| Rank | Reputation | Shipwright discount | Contract pay bonus | Extra daily offers | Services |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Unsworn | Below 15 | None | None | 0 | Ordinary services |
| Sworn Captain | 15 | 5% | 10% | 1 | — |
| Privateer | 50 | 10% | 20% | 1 | Letters of marque |
| Commodore | 120 | 15% | 30% | 2 | Letters of marque, experienced recruits and the Admiralty Carrack |
| Admiral | 250 | 20% | 40% | 2 | Commodore services and naval relief |
A letter of marque costs 1,500 gold for 7 days. It makes a rival crown's ships fair prizes in the signing crown's eyes; the rival crown still calls it piracy.
