Rarity tiers

Tier	Colour	Description
Common	white	Daggerfall's plain item
Magic	blue	One or two numeric affixes, or one of Daggerfall's magic items
Rare	yellow	Three or four affixes plus an enchantment, with a generated name such as Sentinel Map's Cuirass of the Bear
Legendary	orange	A named item with fixed bonuses, an enchantment and a special power
Aetheric	pale blue	Sigil Set pieces, never rolled; only from world bosses or the Sigil Broker
Artifact	violet	Daggerfall's own Artifacts, unchanged
Gilded	crimson	Rare weapons with fixed powers

The ladder is on by default and always on online. Turned off, loot falls back exactly to Daggerfall Unity's.
