Ship cargo and cabins
By default, the load includes you, your carried inventory, wagon contents and the ship's cargo. The horse and wagon themselves count only if their cargo settings are enabled. Overloading slows a ship; at twice its capacity it cannot move. A grounded boat may need moving back into deeper water.
Aim at a boat to open storage, board, take the helm, manage crew or enter its cabin. F4 opens your ship's hold. The Small Ship, Carrack and Large Galley have private furnished cabins; nearby hostile ships block cabin entry.
Boats can be packed into Parts weighing up to 120 kg. Larger ships require their deed. Online, other players can board and walk on your deck, but only the owner can take the helm.
