Inspecting players and sending mail

Inspect shows a nearby player’s title, glyphs, level, race, class, attributes, worn gear and duel record. Journal pages can be held out to others and kept.

Letters

Send letters to a player’s handle, including while they are offline.

The post box, beside the hourglass in the pause menu or opened with /mail, holds developer messages, gifts and Lost and Found loot left after a boss.

The Tamriel Map expansion’s DFO Team letter contains 10 Portal Stones. It is sent to accounts with a username when the update’s letter is distributed; accounts created later do not receive that mailing. Open the letter and claim the gift to put the stones in the online character’s pack.
