Guild sieges
A player guild siege is a scheduled player battle over a town or regional Charter. The challenger earns a Right of Siege through the Seat's weekly influence system. It fights the holder in a separate town battlefield; ordinary visitors are not automatically participants.
Signing and entry
Open the participating board's Seat tab, inspect the announced battle and sign the roster before it closes. Membership and weekly player guild-binding rules apply.
| Rule | Palace battle | Crown battle |
|---|---|---|
| Fighters per side | 10 | 20 |
| Sellsword places per side | Up to 2 | Up to 4 |
| Signup closes | 10 minutes before the start | 10 minutes before the start |
| Battlefield admission opens | 10 minutes before the start | 10 minutes before the start |
| Spectators | Up to 60 | Up to 60 |
| Maximum normal siege duration | 30 minutes | 45 minutes |
| Basic respawn wave | 20 seconds | 30 seconds |
| Protection after a wave | 3 seconds | 3 seconds |
Player guild members must have held membership for seven days at the Turning and satisfy the weekly binding used for that Right. A sellsword is hired by the leader of the player guild, cannot belong to either competing player guild, serves only one side that week and cannot have fought for the opposing player guild during the previous four weeks. Check the Seat tab's eligibility and contract before assuming a place is available.
Objectives
| Objective | Palace | Crown |
|---|---|---|
| Banner points | Gate, Market and Temple | Gate, Market, Temple and Palace |
| Capture a banner | Stand within 8 m without a living enemy there for 20 seconds | Same |
| Banners needed to open the Throne | 2 of 3 | 3 of 4 |
| Additional gate requirement | None | Gatehouse must be breached |
| Uncontested Throne hold to capture the Charter | 120 seconds | 180 seconds |
| Time expires without capture | Holder keeps the Charter | Holder keeps the Charter |
A contested banner freezes. Abandoned partial banner and Throne progress decay. Coordinate captures instead of chasing kills away from the objective.
Crown siege equipment
| Work | Value |
|---|---|
| Base Gatehouse vitality | 20,000 |
| Direct blow damage taken by Gatehouse | One tenth of that blow |
| Ram vitality | 3,000 |
| Ram crew | 2 attackers within 3 m |
| Ram strike | 500 damage every 10 seconds |
Fortifications can change a battle's works and wave timing. Use the actual field and the Seat tab's posted conditions.
Schedule
Palace holders choose a Wednesday–Saturday evening window; the default is Wednesday 20:00 UTC. The window freezes at the Turning. Early-hours choices belong to the night after the named day. Player guild schedule conflicts can move a battle, so the announcement is authoritative.

Ordinary open-zone gear theft is not a siege objective. Waves restore full health; see Health in player combat for the combat and healing rules.
The contested-seat Tourney
An unheld Charter contested by two player guilds can be settled by a 20-minute Tourney on the battlefield, with no holder and no Throne. The side holding more banners at the end wins; a dead heat uses the higher influence. The winner must afford the claim fee or the opportunity passes to the other eligible contender.
This player guild battle is different from the Royal Tourney individual ladder. Read Guild seats and sieges for regional holdings, influence, Charters and upkeep.
