Banks

Banks keep deposited gold safe and provide letters of credit. Banked gold is protected from the normal online death loss of 10% of carried gold.

Gold weighs 0.0025 kg per coin: 400 gold weighs 1 kg. Deposit money you do not need for immediate expenses. Normal online death takes 10% of carried gold; banked gold is protected.

Online bank branches share one account. Offline bank accounts are regional, so money deposited in Daggerfall cannot be withdrawn in Wayrest Map.

A letter of credit carries gold without its weight. The minimum letter is 100 gold, and buying one adds a 1% fee.
