Guild seats and sieges
Every town with a palace is a Seat; Daggerfall, Wayrest Map and Sentinel Map are the Bay’s crown Seats. Seven provinces beyond the Bay also have crown Seats. A guild pledges to a Seat and earns influence each week from being in town, killing at the gates, owning homes, regional Renown and delivering materials to the Seat's stockpile.
The Turning settles each week on Sunday at 18:00 UTC. The top guild claims an empty Seat, or wins a Right of Siege against the holder. Sieges are scheduled team battles.
Holding a Seat brings banners, a Charter Room, Edicts, upkeep, Standing and a say in the town's prices. Seats reset with each Ranked seasons.

From Season 1’s first week, a region has one Charter and siege at its chief town; other towns are holdings of that region. Materials can be donated from Stores or a Materials Bag through a regional Notice Board. Player combat uses actual health; a siege respawn wave restores full health.
See Health in player combat for healing restrictions.
