Black Marsh (province)

Black Marsh is one of the nine provinces of Tamriel. Its land beyond the Iliac Bay forms its own gameplay region. Existing Bay regions retain their separate courts and rules.

These weights apply to generated people outside the Bay, including residents, keepers, guards, crews and enemies. Local biome profiles can differ; they are not a live headcount.

Court and standing

The region beyond the Bay has a Court of Black Marsh and People of Black Marsh faction. Crimes affect local standing, and the ruler’s power affects prices. See Factions and reputation for the shared rules.
