The Armorer's Temper
The Armorer's Temper is a named Cuirass offered by Tempered Again (questline step) for a specific quest outcome. It is a fitted quest reward, so its material, enchantments and combat statistics depend on the generated piece.
Default price: variable quest reward; there is no single fixed value for every generated copy.
Where to find it
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Quest | Tempered Again |
| Required outcome | You had a piece tempered again, and the smith told you the last of the trade. |
| Named base | Cuirass |
| Stock classes that can qualify | All stock classes except Monk |
| Class equipment rule | Your class must allow the rolled armour type (leather, chain or plate) |
| Material requirement | The rolled armour type must be permitted; for plate, its metal must also be permitted |
| Weapon-skill requirement | No weapon-skill requirement |
| Reward selection | Choose the named card as the one piece you keep from the three-piece offer |
Your actual class settings and the rolled piece decide eligibility. If no suitable named card is offered, the alternative has no special name. Reloading retains the saved offer. See Item list for weapon-skill tie priorities when weapon skills are equal.
| Chosen reward | Effect on the named reward |
|---|---|
| Named piece | Consumes that quest's named reward |
| Unnamed alternative | Does not consume the name |
Statistics and value
Read the offered item card for its rolled properties, enchantments and gold value. The Cuirass describes the equipment type; it does not establish fixed statistics for this named reward. Added quest gear rolls at Magic or Rare, according to the quest tier and outcome.
See Quest rewards and loot for the complete rarity and payment tables.
