Outfitting — Your own cloth
A piece made only of Linen or Wool pays its 511 XP first-time bonus when no silver-bought bolts are counted against the craft. Cloth you weave or spin qualifies even if its Root Tendrils or furs were looted or bought, and cloth received from a guildmate qualifies too.
Buying Linen or Wool bolts for silver at the Weavers, furnisher or Market adds to your character’s bought-cloth count. Station crafts use that count first; moving bolts between pack and Stores does not clear it.
The Loom shows how many bought bolts remain before a first-time bonus can pay.
Using silver-bought cloth does not use up a pattern's first-time bonus. Make it again with qualifying cloth after the count is cleared. This also applies to pieces made before the woven-cloth update. Boots also require Cured Leather, so they are not judged as cloth-only crafts.
Enchanting has a stricter rule for repeat disenchanting XP: a cloth-only item must have been made from its maker's own gathered materials and never sold. Woven cloth from looted or bought inputs may qualify for the Outfitting first-time bonus while its cloth-only product still gives no Enchanting XP. Plain Robes have 700 points and yield 7 Essence before Disenchanter.
