Selling and using ore
Open Holdings > Stores and use Put in before trading. Stores hold 5,000 of each material; the Market and writs use that stock.
| Notice Board tab | Purpose | Charges | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Market | Sell across the Bay | 1% listing fee; 5% sale tax | Sale proceeds |
| Work | Court writs for ore and stone | — | 20% above material reference value in silver, plus Renown and Mining XP |
For example, delivering 30 Silver pays 144 silver and 288 XP. An account can fill three Court writs daily.
You can also smelt your own ore at a Weaponsmith's or Armorer's forge, two ore to an ingot for 50 gold, with no Smithing rank at all, or hand it straight to a crafter (Trading with players). Smelting counts towards Smithing rather than Mining, and only two crafts can ever rise past rank 50.
