Enchanting — Disenchanting

1. Make a piece, get a friend to make one, or buy one on the Market.
2. Go to a Mages Guild hall, press the Professions key and open Holdings > Stores.
3. The Enchanting Station lists the crafted pieces in your pack, each with its points, the Essence it gives and the experience it gives. Pieces under 100 points are greyed out, with the reason.
4. Press Disenchant, then press again to confirm. The piece is destroyed and its Essence goes into your Stores.

Worn, locked and listed pieces aren't offered, so take a piece off and unlock it first. Essence lives in your Stores, up to 5,000 of it, and can't be taken out to your pack, though you can buy and sell it on the Market. A disenchant that would take you over the cap is refused.
