Settings — Readability and comfort

Setting Where What it changes
Gameplay HUD scale Interface → HUD Scales the compass, bars and effect icons.
Map text and icons Interface → Maps Scales the world, town and dungeon maps' text and icons. Auto grows them on screens taller than 1080p.
Reduced motion Accessibility → Motion Nothing on the HUD pulses, flies or rises. Your system's own reduced-motion setting does the same.
Danger colors Accessibility → Danger shapes The color of a blow's edge, of safe ground and of a hazard in the Spire's danger shapes.
Danger fill Accessibility → Danger shapes How brightly a blow's ground fills; its edge stays whole.
Enhanced AI: Telegraph contrast Combat → Enemies Draws attack warnings with thicker lines, a white keyline and a pattern for every guard so they read more clearly.
Enhanced lighting: Steady shadows Graphics → Lighting & brightness Stops shadows flickering, at some cost to frame rate. The Low quality preset turns it off.
Enhanced lighting: Calmer eye Graphics → Lighting & brightness Slows how fast your eyes adjust to light and dark.
Technique camera motion Accessibility → Motion How much a weapon technique shakes and tilts the view and dips your hands; on the enhanced skin it also sets how far your hands dip when you gather.
