Solitude (city)

Solitude is a city in Skyrim Map, beyond the Iliac Bay.

Select the city on the World map and choose Begin journey to walk there on the overworld. This is not instant fast travel. Arrival targets the city’s gate.

Headland and approaches

Solitude stands on a headland above the sea, with cliffs on three sides. Its lower Well District leads by three stairs to an upper city about 6 m higher. The Blue Palace occupies the tallest sea stack; the arch crosses the river mouth about 42 m above the water.

The country road climbs in zigzags before entering the main gate. A separate Docks Way descends from the north gate to the quay, shipyard and lighthouse. The castle, temple, college and tomb hall are in the upper city.
