Class skills and levels

Leveling uses six class skills: your three primary skills, your two highest major skills and your highest minor skill. Practice these skills and rest to apply their increases. When enough have improved, the character sheet offers a level-up.

Skills normally stop at 100. With Master Skills disabled offline, reaching 100 in a primary skill prevents other skills from rising above 95; skills already above 95 keep their values. Enabling Master Skills removes this restriction.

Level limit

Mode Highest new level Existing character handling
Online 45 Level is recalculated from skills when joining; an inflated level and maximum health can be reduced
Offline 45 Characters already above the limit retain their level

Online, five mastered skills and the sixth counted class skill at 100 reach level 45. The sixth mastery can strengthen that skill, but does not add to the level calculation. Recalculation leaves skills, attributes and equipment unchanged.

Level progress and missed levels

The online level-up window shows skill points earned toward the next level, using the same raw points as the skill sheet. A point above 100contributes less to leveling, so the displayed requirement grows as the counted skills enter mastery. For example, 23/38 means 23 of 38 skill points for the current level; it is not a fixed requirement for every character.
