Enemy behaviour — Tactics
Tactics apply when an enemy sees its target within 14 m (51.2 m for shooters).
- Turns: at most 2 melee and 2 ranged enemies attack one target at a time; the rest circle 1.5 m outside reach. After a blow the attacker steps back and hands its turn to whoever has waited longest. An enemy waiting more than 6 seconds attacks anyway, and a target with its back turned is open to anyone.
- Backing off: losing 25% of its health in 3 seconds sends an enemy back 2 m.
- Fleeing: animals and cowardly classes (mages, sorcerers, healers, bards, burglars, acrobats, thieves) flee below 20% health. Undead, daedra, constructs and the watch fight to the end.
- Kiting: archers inside 6 m back away to 7 m.
