Firmament stars

Firmament stars spend progression points on passive bonuses and keystones. Combat and profession stars use separate point pools.

  • The tree has 518 stars across seven signs: the Mage, the Shadow, the Thief, the Steed, the Warrior, the Ritual, and the Serpent in the middle. The inner sky is combat. The outer life ring covers the trades and has its own keystones.
  • Points: 2 stars per Renown level past the first (98 at Renown 50). Craft points come at 1 per 8 profession ranks, up to 125 at ten Masters, and buy life-ring stars only. You can never unlock every star.
  • Caps apply across the tree, for example Attributes +15 each, combat skills +15, spell damage +30%, health or magicka +75, and weapon damage +30% (+50% with conditions). Attribute bonuses also raise the attribute limit, so a full +15 can raise 100 to 115.
  • Keystones trade a benefit for a cost. Life-ring keystones have no drawbacks.
  • Refunds are free below Renown 10, then 10 silver a star. A full respec costs 10,000 gold. Builds can be shared as FIRM-… codes.
  • Combat bonuses are inactive in duels, arenas, sieges and while mentoring. Life bonuses, including Personality, still apply in competitive play; mentoring suspends attribute and skill bonuses. Firmament bonuses do not strengthen attacks or spells against players. In the Wrothgarian zone, combat bonuses apply only against creatures.
