Armour enchantment capacity

The tables give the points available at the item maker, before adding side effects. Both left and right arm pieces have the listed capacity. The lighter Helmet and Boots (light) are different pieces from the standard Helm and Boots.

Mail and leather variants

Metal versions of the light set are called brigandine; metal versions of the mail set carry Mail in their names. Fur uses the Leather column for enchantment capacity.

These capacities are separate from disenchanting yields: a better metal gives armour more room for item-maker powers, but no extra Arcane Essence when dismantling it.
