Curse Drawback On Notes
Bad Rep With Costs you 10 points of standing with one social group (Commoners, Merchants, Scholars, the Nobility or the Underworld) for as long as the piece is worn. Never the "All" setting. Any weapon, armour, jewel or garment Never rolled against a group the piece already favours: a Good Rep With flavour for that group (or for all), or a standing line for it.
Bad Reactions From While an enemy of the chosen kind (humanoid, animal or Daedra) stands within about 8 m, you take -5 to your chance to hit. Any weapon, armour, jewel or garment The hit penalty applies only while an enemy of the chosen kind is nearby.
Item Deteriorates The piece loses 1 point of condition every fourth magic round while you stand in a holy place. A weapon or armour piece also wears in sunlight. Any weapon, armour, jewel or garment (sunlight too for weapons and armour) Wears the piece slowly, a point at a time, rather than breaking it at once.
User Takes Damage You lose 1 health every fourth magic round while you stand in a holy place. Any weapon, armour, jewel or garment Only active in temples. Sunlight and ordinary travel do not trigger the damage.
Low Damage Vs Blows with the weapon deal 5 less damage to one kind of enemy: undead, Daedra, humanoids or animals. Weapons only Never rolled against a kind the weapon is already Potent Vs, or has a slayer line for.
Health Leech (unless used daily) If the weapon goes a day unused, it drains 1 health every fourth magic round until you strike with it again. Weapons only Striking with the weapon resets the one-day timer and stops the drain.
Damned (Health Leech: whenever used) Costs you 8 health on every strike with the weapon, and 16 on every use of the item. Legendary weapons only One in four cursed Legendary weapons is Damned, with a maximum-strength curse. Identifying it reveals the Damned Legendary name. Temples cannot remove this curse; unequip the weapon to stop its damage.
