Plan a run

  1. Check the event's entry requirements and participation rules.
  2. Make pack space, repair equipment and bring supplies. Sea encounters require a suitable ship.
  3. Follow the event's reward guide before spending a key or leaving a run.
  4. Spend festival currency at its vendor, or keep tradeable materials for crafting or sale.

Resources and rewards

Reference Contents
Event resources Where each resource comes from, restrictions and uses
Event shops Currency costs, daily stock and weekly purchase limits
Event equipment All 90 fixed Aetheric pieces with individual statistics
Scheduled world events Detailed encounter times and recurring activities
Festivals and guild contests Calendar holidays and guild competitions
Gold from group events Gold comparisons and reward conditions

Calendar holidays, Arena contests and ranked seasons have their own reward rules. A calendar celebration does not automatically provide Soul Cakes or a festival shop. Silver and Renown follow their normal account caps; random drops are not guaranteed.

Greater Giant rewards

Eight Greater Giants roam Cyrodiil Map, two in each of its four difficulty rings. A defeated giant returns after 30 real minutes. Its body contains ordinary giant loot plus two additional elite-loot rolls.

Additional reward Quantity per giant Award rule
Magic equipment Up to 4 pieces Two per elite-loot roll, when eligible gear can be generated
Common equipment Up to 2 pieces One per elite-loot roll
Rare equipment Up to 2 pieces Independent chance on each roll; varies with level
Legendary equipment Up to 2 pieces Up to 6% per roll; varies with character level
Gold Two rolls of 20–60 per giant level Additional to the body's ordinary gold

Rare chances vary with level, so there is no single fixed percentage for every character. The two Legendary rolls are independent; two rolls do not make a guaranteed drop. See Elite enemy and Loot and rarity for the shared rules.
