Experience and brew output

Each new potion or dish pays 3,155 bonus XP. Water Breathing and Levitation are exceptions: they never pay that bonus and always make just one potion. Changing a dish's northern herb for its southern version does not create another bonus.

50–74 2 3 0%
75–99 2 3 10%

Each brew uses one of every listed ingredient, regardless of output count.

Brewing XP falls to a quarter when the recipe is more than two tiers below the best tier your rank opens. Extra bottles and Potent results do not add XP.

Cooking XP follows your current Provisioning rank, so starter dishes remain useful. Clean cooking adds 50% XP; Cook’s extra serving adds none. Each guild Apothecary tier adds 50% of base cooking XP.

At rank 70:

Ordinary 0 120
Clean 0 180
Clean 2 300
