Professions — Limits

You can raise every gathering track to 100. Only two of the five crafting tracks per character can advance past rank 50. Shared disciplines use one slot: Smithing includes Jewelcrafting, Building includes Carpentry and Masonry, and Provisioning includes Alchemy and Cooking.

Lower-rank recipes remain available. Changing specialisations does not lower ranks or free an advanced slot. This choice does not cap the five gathering professions. See choosing-your-professions for profession pairs.
